Buddhist paintings on glass 

The tradition of painting religious images on glass is an old one that continues to be popular today in Thailand and Burma. Popular images can be of Buddha, or of animal figures each representing a month in the calendar year. Some of most compelling are those which show an existing temple in Thailand, Burma or India.

These wonderful examples of Thai folk art are full of meaning and cultural interest, as well as handsome to look at.
